The Shift Supervisor is responsible for providing a clear line of authority
and accountability in the absence of the Nurse Managers department managers.
Functions in a role to facilitate operations of the hospital, implementation
of changes, and enhance staff accountability. Serves as clinician with
advanced clinical knowledge and skills.
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and CPI certifications, current license as a Registered
Nurse in the State of Ohio and Graduate of accredited Registered Nurse
Program, Dysrhythmia and Critical Care are required. Three years acute
care experience with one-year experience in Critical Care, Birthing Care,
Surgical Care, or Emergency Care Services also required. Previous supervising
experience and BSN are preferred qualifications.
