The Manager of Risk Management/Compliance/Safety is responsible for the
organizations’ Risk Management, Compliance and Safety activities.
The Manager, Risk/Compliance/Safety coordinates and communicates all compliance
activities and programs, as well as plans, implements, and monitors the
compliance program. This position ensures that all compliance concerns
and issues are thoroughly investigated. The Manager of Risk/Compliance/Safety
is also responsible for the oversight, development, implementation and
education of the hospital safety program. This position is responsible
for the facility’s risk management activities, which includes, but
may not be limited to a general knowledge of facility insurance programs,
managing claims against the facility, interfacing with defense legal counsel,
administering the risk management program on a day-to-day basis, managing
and analyzing risk management data, and conducting risk management educational
programs, complying with risk management related standards by The DNV,
Joint Commission and other accrediting and regulatory agencies with the
objective of enhancing patient safety, promoting patient safety, quality
care, and minimizing loss to protect the assets of the facility.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nursing or Healthcare Administration
or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. 1 -
3 Years Healthcare Experience required. Previous experience in either
Risk Management, Compliance or Safety management in a healthcare setting required.
