Job Description

A Laboratory Assistant is responsible for collecting clinical samples for the hospital. Samples are often collected off-site. The Laboratory Assistant must be sensitive to working with people and needs to communicate clearly.

Qualifications

BLS, GED or High School Diploma required. Must acquire and or maintain drug and alcohol collection and testing certificate within a year of hire. Previous phlebotomy experience and National Phlebotomy Association Certification or equivalent preferred.
