The Henry County Hospital Board of Directors held their monthly board meeting
on Monday, August 6, 2012 in the Heller Community Room at Henry County
Hospital. Present at the meeting were Dr. Joseph Krueger, Chairman of
the Board; Kimberly Bordenkircher, Chief Executive Officer; Marv Barlow,
Vice Chairman; Dr. Douglas Lindsey, Chief of Staff; Dr. Robert Limbird,
Tom Mack and Anne Goon. Also present were: Patricia Frank, Chief Nursing
Officer; Mary Clapp, Controller; Michelle Rychener, Chief Operating Officer;
and Lee Ann Druhot, Executive Assistant.
Kim Bordenkircher, Chief Executive Officer, presented the hospital monthly
report to the Board of Directors:
•The Celebration and Recognition Team scheduled a Family Fun Day on
Thursday, August 9th from 5:00-8:00pm at Henry County Hospital. All employees
are welcome to bring their entire family. There was food, games, raffles,
arts & crafts, photo fun and a 1 mile fun walk.
•There were close to 4000 attendees of Kidz Fest this year which is
a record high attendance. As a group of volunteers, the hospital provided
over 70 hours of service to the community for the event, handed out 1300
water bags, 1200 HCH goodie bags, and close to 600 packs of apple slices
•Henry County raised a total of $199,045.38 for Relay for Life this
year. This is the highest amount raised in our area thus far. Henry County
Hospital raised $3,704.39.
•The hospital had a team of staff members that represented Henry County
Hospital and participated as a group during the annual Napoleon Triathlon
on Saturday, July 7th: Sheila Jones (running), Gina Hill (biking) and
Sue Shepard (swimming). Chris Hunter also participated as an individual.
Mary Clapp, Controller presented the financial statements for June 2012.
There were 60 admissions and 11 births through June. Days in accounts
receivable held steady at 49.
The next Board Meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 10, 2012 in the
Heller Community Room.
