Kim Bordenkircher, Chief Executive Officer, presented the hospital monthly
report to the Board of Directors:
• September 12, 2012 was Ms. Angie Nally's last day of employment
at Henry County Hospital. She is beginning the next phase of her life,
retirement. She has been employed at Henry County Hospital for 34 years
and 34 days! Angie's contribution to the hospital will be missed.
• Mr. Ryan Lauf from Napoleon is the Medical Staff scholarship recipient
for 2012-2013.
• Our very own Ms. Jan Hoffer has been asked to represent the hospital
on the Transportation Network Board. This board meets six times per year
at the Senior Center in Napoleon. This is a great opportunity to have
insight and input regarding the services they provide.
• Henry County Hospital, along with Dr. Erast Haftkowycz, hosted the
'Celebrate Being a Woman' Event on September 13th. Fifty staff
and community members spent the evening listening to a presentation and
enjoying each other's company. This was the first of this type of
event, with plans to present something on an annual basis. The comments
were extremely positive. Mrs. Connie Panning did an outstanding job orchestrating
this event.
Mary Clapp, Controller presented the financial statements for August 2012.
There were 43 admissions and 5 births through August. Days in accounts
decreased to 47.
The next Board Meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 5, 2012 in the
Heller Community Room.
