Napoleon, Ohio –
Modern Healthcare, a national health care industry publication selected Henry County Hospital
for the fourth consecutive year as one of the nation’s best places to work.

Modern Healthcare partnered with Best Companies Group, a Pennsylvania-based firm that administers
“best places to work” programs nationwide in the selection process.
Modern Healthcare conducted this program to recognize outstanding employers in the healthcare
industry on a national level.
Hospitals across the country were evaluated based on eight core areas:
Leadership and planning, culture and communications, role satisfaction,
working environment, relationship with supervisors, training and development,
pay and benefits and overall satisfaction. Henry County Hospital was awarded
the ranking of #64 at the awards gala on October 24th in Atlanta, Georgia.
To qualify, participating hospitals were required to submit a questionnaire
that includes an overview of human resources policies and benefits. All
full-time employees were sent a confidential survey that included 77 questions
encompassing the eight core areas of evaluation.
“We are extremely proud of the employees and the work we do,”
commented Kim Bordenkircher, Henry County Hospital’s chief executive
officer. “This award underscores our commitment to excellence and
the value we place on each and every one of the outstanding people who
chose to be part of the organization.”
Henry County Hospital employs 273 people and is among the county’s
largest employers. Henry County Hospital, along with other award winners
were featured in the October 30th issue of
Modern Healthcaremagazine. The results are also posted on the publication’s website
