Henry County Hospital Named One of the Best 100 Places to Work by Modern Healthcare Magazine

Napoleon, Ohio – Modern Healthcare, a national health care industry
publication selected Henry County Hospital for the fifth consecutive year
as one of the nation's best places to work.
Modern Healthcare partnered with Best Companies Group, a Pennsylvania-based
firm that administers "best places to work" programs nationwide
in the selection process. Modern Healthcare conducted this program to
recognize outstanding employers in the healthcare industry on a national level.
Hospitals across the country were evaluated based on eight core areas:
Leadership and planning, culture and communications, role satisfaction,
working environment, relationship with supervisors, training and development,
pay and benefits and overall satisfaction. Henry County Hospital was awarded
the ranking of #44 at the awards gala on October 23rd in Chicago, Illinois.
To qualify, participating hospitals were required to submit a questionnaire
that includes an overview of human resources policies and benefits. All
full-time employees were sent a confidential survey that included 77 questions
encompassing the eight core areas of evaluation.
"I am so grateful to work at Henry County Hospital and with the employees
who truly make the Hospital a great place to work," commented Kim
Bordenkircher, chief executive officer of Henry County Hospital. "This
ranking is particularly special because it is based almost entirely on
information gathered from Henry County Hospital staff – the people
who work day in and day out to make the Hospital an excellent place for
patients to receive care and an exceptional place to work."
Henry County Hospital employs 272 people and is among Henry County's
largest employers. Henry County Hospital, along with other award winners
were featured in the October 27th issue of Modern Healthcare magazine.
The results are also posted on the publication's website www.modernhealthcare.com.
