About Erast

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Haftkowycz brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Obstetrics and Gynecology department at Henry County Hospital. He is Board Certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and licensed in Neonatal Resuscitation as well as Basic Life Support. Dr. Haftkowycz holds a Masters's in Medical Ethics, serves as Chairman of the Ethics Committee at Fairview hospital in Cleveland, OH, and has been recognized twice as Teacher of the Year by Fairview Hospital Family Practice. In addition, Dr. Haftkowycz is a graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He completed his residencies in Cleveland, at University Hospitals of Cleveland and Metro Health Medical Center. In his spare time, Dr. Haftkowycz spends time with his three children, grandchildren, and wife. He also enjoys cooking, golf, water sports, and other outdoor activities.
