How are the donations used?

All gifts received by Henry County Hospital Foundation, Inc. are used for the sole purpose of supporting Henry County Hospital in projects that improve patient care for the patients who seek services at Henry County Hospital and for the providers who care for those patients.

Is my gift to the Foundation tax deductible?

The Foundation is designated as a 501(c)(3) corporation with the Ohio Secretary of State, Charter #1138796; Internal Revenue Service taxpayer ID is #34-1919852. All donations received through the Foundation are tax deductible.

Will gifts be used for operating expenses?

No donation or planned gift given to the Foundation will be used for operating expenses. The administration of Henry County Hospital provides office space, support staff and operating expenses for the Foundation.

Can I designate how my donations are used?
  • Donors may designate their gifts for a specific department, service line, project, or piece of equipment.
  • Unrestricted gifts allow the Board of Trustees to allocate the money where the greatest need is identified.
