•We have received a letter from the Northern Ohio Poison Center (NOPC)
requesting a gift or donation. The Northern Ohio Poison Center is primarily
supported by donations.Henry County Hospital will be donating $1,332.
•We have received the EHR (Electronic Health Record) money from Medicare
for meeting Meaningful Use. All hospitals must meet the requirements for
meaningful use, if prior to the deadline then money is provided to help
offset the cost. If hospitals are not compliant until after the deadline
then a penalty will be applied.
•The Administrative Team reviewed and updated the hospital's succession
plan. The succession plan identifies a process for when individuals resign
or retire from certain positions throughout the hospital. This assures
that smooth transitions occur. The need for succession planning was identified
during the board self assessment in 2011.
