Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, claiming
the lives of over 600,000 people every year. The key to reducing this
number is early detection and treatment. With Henry County Hospital’s
Cardiology Services, residents of Henry County and the surrounding area
have greater access to expert heart specialists.
“When you consider that heart disease is responsible for one in four
deaths in our country, having cardiology services close to home becomes
invaluable,” said Kim Bordenkircher, Chief Executive Officer at
Henry County Hospital. “We are thrilled HCH Cardiology patients
will continue to have access to the same expert cardiologists they saw
through Mercy Cardiology.” Previously this service was known as
Mercy Cardiology. Now Henry County Hospital has worked directly with Toledo
Cardiology Consultants to provide the services of Dr. Alkhateeb and Dr.
Alo now through HCH Cardiology Services.
Henry County Hospital Cardiology helps patients of all ages create a heart-healthy
lifestyle so that they can enjoy the best health and quality of life possible.
