The Henry County Hospital Board of Directors held their monthly board meeting
on Monday, July 1, 2013 in the Heller Community Room at Henry County Hospital.
Present at the meeting were Dr. Joseph Krueger, Chairman of the Board;
Marv Barlow; Vice Chairman, Kimberly Bordenkircher, Chief Executive Officer;
Dr. Douglas Lindsey, Rick Fruth, John Wilhelm, Anne Goon, Dr. Robert Limbird
and Jim Burkhart. Also present were: Mary Clapp and Diane Walther, Controllers;
Michelle Rychener, Chief Operating Officer; Patricia Frank, Chief Nursing
Officer and Lee Ann Druhot, Executive Assistant.
Kim Bordenkircher, Chief Executive Officer, presented the hospital monthly
report to the Board of Directors:
• To celebrate Henry County Hospital being named the 42nd Best Place
to Work in Healthcare some of the hospital staff is being featured on
billboards in the county! They are in the following locations: US 6 and
TWP Road 15A going towards Napoleon and US 24, Old Route 6 and County
Road O, State Route 108 close to Fairgrounds going Northbound towards
Napoleon, State Route 18 East of Hamler near Patrick Henry High School
and on the New 24.
• Karlee Badenhop has been working with Chad Luffs at the City of
Napoleon office regarding improved signage for the Hospital Detour. In
addition, Karlee and Joel Miller have been in contact regarding the issues.
Karlee has developed additional detour communication and communicated
this through Facebook and the Northwest signal. We appreciate all of the
assistance from the City and the Chamber.
Diane Walther, Controller, presented the financial statements for May 2013.
There were 58 admissions and 7 births through May. Days in accounts receivable
increased by 1 to 48.
The next Board Meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 12, 2013 in the
Heller Community Room.
