The Henry County Hospital Board of Directors held their monthly board meeting
on Monday, September 9, 2013 in the Heller Community Room at Henry County
Hospital. Present at the meeting were Dr. Joseph Krueger, Chairman of
the Board; Marv Barlow; Vice Chairman, Kimberly Bordenkircher, Chief Executive
Officer; Dr. Douglas Lindsey, Rick Fruth, Tom Mack, Anne Goon, Dr. Robert
Limbird and Jim Burkhart. Also present were: Diane Walther, Controllers;
Michelle Rychener, Chief Operating Officer; Patricia Frank, Chief Nursing
Officer and Lee Ann Druhot, Executive Assistant.
Kim Bordenkircher, Chief Executive Officer, presented the hospital monthly
report to the Board of Directors:
- Studer Group® has selected the winning organizations of this year’s
“Excellence in Patient Care” awards based on various categories
and the top organizations in each HCAHPS Composite. Henry County Hospital
has won in the Most Improved in Core Measures and will be receiving a
2013 Excellence in Patient Care Award at this year’s 11thannual
What’s Right in Health Care® conference.

listed on this flyer
Step 2: Attend an enrollment
Step 3: Read & Sign an informed consent form and complete a brief survey
Step 4: Provide a waist measurement and small blood sample to be taken
by a certified, trained phlebotomist ***Blood Draw is ONE TIME ONLY***
Step 5: Complete a more detailed survey at home about factors related to
your health
- Diane Walther, Controller, presented the financial statements for July
2013. There were 74 admissions and 11 births through July. Days in accounts
receivable increased to 51.
- The next Board Meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 7, 2013 in the
Heller Community Room.
