Every year about 715,000 Americans have a heart attack, making heart disease
the number one killer of both men and women. Nationwide, heart disease
captures over 600,000 lives per year.
"According to the 2013 Henry County Health Assessment heart disease
captures 23% of all deaths in Henry County," states Kim Bordenkircher,
Henry County Hospital's chief executive officer. "The addition
of Mercy Cardiology Clinic provides the residents of Henry County and
the surrounding areas greater access to expert cardiology services close
to home."

County Hospital Foundation's 2012 Annual Fund Drive. With the support
of the community, the Henry County Hospital Foundation purchased state-of-the
art stress testing equipment that now benefits the hundreds of patients
who seek cardiology services at Henry County Hospital.
"The health needs of our community are top priority," commented
