Henry County Hospital Officers
Kim Bordenkircher is the Chief Executive Officer of Henry County Hospital.
Kim received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of
Akron in 1980 and her Masters of Business Administration from Tiffin University
in 1993. She began her career in 1980 at Barberton Citizens Hospital as
a staff nurse on a medical surgical unit. She started her career at Henry
County Hospital in 1998 as the Chief Nursing Officer and became the Chief
Executive Officer in 1999. As Chief Executive Officer, Kim provides guidance,
support, and direction to the staff of Henry County Hospital. She oversees
the overall provision of quality patient care, and operationalizes Henry
County Hospital's mission, vision, and values for the patients, employees,
Kristi Barnd is the Chief Operating Officer at Henry County Hospital. Kristi
received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management from Albion
College and her Master of Business Administration with a Healthcare Concentration
from Defiance College. She began working at Henry County Hospital in 2010,
where she held several positions including Risk Manager, Compliance Officer,
Safety Officer, and Manager of Quality Improvement. During that time,
Kristi co-chaired the Ohio Hospital Association’s Northwest Ohio
Quality Collaborative and served as a state examiner for The Partnership
for Excellence, Ohio’s Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Program.
Kristi also received a Certification in Healthcare Compliance in 2011
from the Health Care Compliance Association.
Patricia Frank is the Chief Nursing Officer at Henry County Hospital. Patty
has an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Northwest State Community
College and a Master's of Science in Nursing Degree from Walden University.
She began her healthcare career in 1989 when she worked as a nurse's
aide at Northcrest Nursing Home in Napoleon, Ohio, and became a registered
nurse in May of 2000. Patty has worked at Henry County Hospital since
June 2002. Her position upon hire was a registered nurse in the Surgical
Care Services Department. She received her certification as an operating
room nurse (CNOR) in 2004. This specialty certification prepared her for
advancing to the position of Surgical Care Services Supervisor in November
of 2006. In this position, she managed Surgical Care Services, Sterile
Processing, Anesthesia, Birthing Care Services, Infection Prevention,
and School Nursing Service Departments until November of 2009 when Ms.
Frank accepted the position of Chief Nursing Officer.
Bill Grimm is the Chief Information Officer and HIPAA Security Officer
at Henry County Hospital. Bill has an Associate’s Degree from Kirkwood
Community College with a LAN Certificate, a Bachelor of Science Degree
in Health Care Administration and a Master of Business Administration
Degree from Upper Iowa University. He began his information systems career
as a help desk analyst and advanced to supervisor and director roles.
Prior to coming to Henry County Hospital as the Chief Information Officer
in April of 2016 Bill worked as an Information Systems and Patient Access
Director and HIPAA Security Officer at a Critical Access Hospital in Marengo, Iowa.
